SPOOKFEST a Haunting Success in Dublin centres!

11/11/2014 SPOOKFEST a Haunting Success in Dublin centres!

SPOOKFEST took over RehabCare in Ballyfermot last week when five of the local RehabCare services came together for a mega Halloween party. All the people who use the services, as well as staff, were in fancy dress. People travelled from Kildare, Bray, New Horizons (Stillorgan), Dun Laoghaire and of course Ballyfermot for SPOOKFEST. They danced and partied with some fun Halloween games, with prizes for the best dressed. Paul Heffernan who attends the Ballyfermot centre, used his DJ experience from his 96FM West Dublin Access Radio show to keep the dancefloor hopping!

Martin Murphy said "I thought it was a good day and a great change from the norm of doing programmes and such. It was also a fantastic way to meet people from other centres and not one person came in the same costume. My favourite outfit was John from RehabCare Kildare who came as a devil and made a great effort".

Terri O' Neill says "SPOOKFEST was a huge success, the music was great and DJ Paul had the dance floor jumping. Everyone from each centre dressed up and looked very good, we all had a good laugh together and the food at lunch time was fantastic, we were absolutely stuffed but got to dance it off again after lunch".

Patricia Farrell said "I loved dressing up for the Halloween party and meeting new people, I went as a nun and was hoping to win a prize but maybe next year. The food was very good and I really enjoyed dancing with my pal Patricia O' Reilly".
